Q-Park partner with Disabled Motoring UK to provide members with parking discounts and donations

Q-Park have partnered with Disabled Motoring UK to offer a wealth of benefits to both the organisation itself and the disabled drivers that they represent. As part of this partnership DMUK members will receive 15% off parking with Q-Park who will then donate a portion of the revenue from each booking back to DMUK.

Disabled Motoring UK is a campaigning charity for disabled drivers, passengers and Blue Badge Holders. They lobby government & businesses across the UK in order to improve parking, refuelling and access provision for disabled people, so that they can access the goods and services they need. DMUK members have access to Information Officers who field questions about accessible parking, vehicle adaptations and congestion charge issues. DMUK has over 17,000 members.

Q-Park strives to ensure access for all customers. In most car parks, there are designated disabled parking spaces near to the pedestrian entrances for ease of access, and lifts are installed where required. Disabled parking spaces are wider than the Q-Park standard spaces, which are already wider than industry requirements. With a 24/7 customer service helpline at every pedestrian and driver entry and exit point, help is there when needed. Onsite parking hosts are also on hand either within the car park or one nearby, so are always available to offer assistance where required. Q-Park aim is to make parking as convenient as possible for all of our customers.

Graham Footer, Chief Executive of Disabled Motoring UK, commented ‘We are delighted to work further with Q-Park to provide discounted parking for our members in their parking facilities. Their commitment to accessibility for the many is something that should be used as a standard across the entire parking industry. The donations we receive from this partnership will help us continue to lobby for improvements for our members.’

Adam Bidder, Managing Director of Q-Park UK, commented ‘Q-Park are proud to be able to help one of the best Disability Lobbies in the UK. We believe this partnership will help to drive forward the standard of parking provided by private parking operators for those with disabilities.'

As member of DMUK you can visit the discounts section of the members area to get the promotional code to receive the discount on pre-booking.
