Q-Park are delighted to announce that they have been nominated for three British Parking Awards. The winners are due to be announced on the 12th of September in a ceremony hosted by comedian Paul Sinha.
The British Parking Awards, established in 2002 by Parking Review magazine, quickly became recognised as the premier benchmark for excellence within the parking industry. These prestigious awards celebrate outstanding achievement in parking management, design, and innovation, setting the standard for quality and creativity across the sector. Q-Park has built an impressive track record at the British Parking Awards, earning multiple wins over the years along with numerous nominations. This consistent recognition highlights Q-Park’s commitment to delivering high-quality facilities, innovative solutions, and exceptional service within the industry.
The three awards Q-Park have been nominated for are Parking Operator of the Year, the Car Park Renovation Award and the EV Charging Award.
The Car Park Renovation Award celebrates projects that go beyond simply repairing or modernising existing facilities. Q-Park were nominated in this category for their overhaul of the Windsor Royal parking facility.
The EV Charging Award recognises the development and delivery of innovative approaches to providing Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure, systems, and services both within car parks and at the kerbside. This category highlights organisations that are helping to drive the transition to sustainable transport by making charging more accessible, reliable, and user-friendly. Open to parking providers, chargepoint operators, and technology developers, the award celebrates those who are setting new standards in convenience, efficiency, and design, ultimately supporting the wider adoption of Electric Vehicles across the UK. Q-Park were nominated in this category for their Nationwide network of over 500 EV Charging Points across city centres in the UK.
The Car Park Operator of the Year Award celebrates parking providers that consistently deliver an excellent and positive experience for motorists. This prize recognises organisations that go beyond the basics of parking management to create services that are clear, customer-friendly, and people-focused, ensuring that interactions remain straightforward, non-confrontational, and supportive. Q-Park firmly believes that their extensive industry experience, combined with their ongoing commitment to Quality, Innovation, and Positive Change, makes them a strong and credible contender for this award. Their dedication is evident through a number of forward-thinking initiatives, including the nationwide rollout of Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure, the repurposing of parking facilities into Sustainable Mobility Hubs that support modern urban transport needs, and the integration of their renowned standards of quality into other brands they have acquired, such as Britannia Parking.
