Q-Park nominated for three British Parking Awards

Q-Park are delighted to announce that they have been nominated for three British Parking Awards. The winners are due to be announced on the 18th of September in a ceremony hosted by comedian Angela Barnes.

The British Parking Awards were established in 2002 by Parking Review magazine and have since become one of the industry’s leading measures of excellence. The awards recognise outstanding achievements across parking management, design, customer service and innovation, celebrating the organisations and individuals helping to raise standards across the sector. Q-Park has enjoyed considerable success at the British Parking Awards, securing multiple awards as well as receiving numerous nominations over the years. This continued recognition reflects Q-Park’s commitment to investing in high-quality parking facilities, embracing new technology and innovation, and continually improving the experience provided to customers.

The three awards Q-Park have been nominated for are Parking Operator of the Year, Best New Car Park and EV Charging Provider.

The EV Charging Provider Award recognises chargepoint operators, car park operators, facility managers and destinations that are making a meaningful contribution to the transition towards electric vehicles. The award celebrates organisations that are investing in accessible, reliable and well-planned EV charging infrastructure, helping to make electric vehicle ownership more convenient and practical for drivers. It highlights those taking a considered approach to the development and operation of charging facilities, ensuring EV charging is effectively integrated into parking environments and other destinations while supporting the continued growth of electric mobility. Q-Park were nominated for this award for their bespoke EV Charging Installation at Q-Park Liverpool ONE which comprises of 31 EV Charging Points and state of the art payment terminals all housed under the North West’s largest urban shopping centre.

The Best New Car Park Award is a site-specific accolade that recognises excellence in car park design, construction and delivery. The award celebrates projects that demonstrate how innovative design, high-quality construction techniques and careful planning can transform parking facilities into attractive, functional and distinctive structures that complement their surroundings. The category is open to a wide range of organisations involved in the development and operation of parking facilities, including local authorities, private car park operators, landowners, architects, developers and construction companies. Entries can include newly developed multi-storey car parks, underground parking facilities and surface car parks, with each project assessed on the overall quality and effectiveness of its design and construction. Q-Park were nominated for their The Forum parking facility in Gloucester City Centre. This new Mobility Hub houses 44 EV Charging Points and the external façade is a living wall comprising of thousands of plants.

The Car Park Operator of the Year Award recognises parking providers that consistently deliver high standards and a positive experience for motorists. It celebrates organisations that look beyond the traditional role of car park management, creating services that are convenient, customer-focused and easy to use while continually seeking new ways to improve the overall parking experience. Q-Park believes its extensive industry experience, together with its continued focus on quality, innovation and positive change, makes it a strong contender for this award. This commitment can be seen across a range of initiatives designed to enhance both its parking facilities and the wider role they play within towns and cities. These include the continued expansion of EV charging infrastructure across its estate, the transformation of traditional parking facilities into Sustainable Mobility Hubs supporting evolving urban transport needs, and the introduction of Q-Park’s established standards and expertise across acquired businesses such as Britannia Parking. Together, these initiatives demonstrate Q-Park’s commitment to continually improving the customer experience, investing in the future of its facilities and helping to raise standards across the wider parking industry.
