Q-Park are delighted to confirm that a deal has been agreed to commence operating the Solly Street parking facility in Sheffield City Centre.

Q‑Park has a strong presence in Sheffield, providing convenient parking across key city centre locations that serve the city’s main cultural, retail, and entertainment attractions. Q‑Park Charles Street, known for its striking design, sits close to Sheffield Theatres, the Crucible, Lyceum, Peace Gardens and Winter Garden, making it ideal for theatre‑goers and visitors exploring the heart of the city. Nearby, Q‑Park Castlegate is perfectly placed for events at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre and offers easy access to the city centre and riverside areas. For those heading towards Sheffield Station or the Cultural Industries Quarter, Q‑Park Sheffield Station provides a practical Mobility Hub with direct access to transport links and surrounding venues. Q‑Park Rockingham Street is a popular choice for Sheffield City Hall, shops along West Street, and nightlife in the area, while Q‑Park Riverside serves Kelham Island, Magna Science Adventure Centre connections, and riverside dining spots. Together, these well‑located car parks make Q‑Park a reliable choice for exploring Sheffield with ease, comfort, and confidence. Over the years Q-Park have built a strong reputation for providing quality parking across Sheffield as well as continually investing in improving their parking facilities, such as installing over 35 EV Charging Points across the city.

Q‑Park has assumed management of the Solly Street car park under a management agreement, operating the facility on behalf of the landlord. Bringing its proven operational expertise to the site, Q‑Park will focus on enhancing the day‑to‑day parking experience through high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service. The aim is to deliver a reliable, well‑managed facility that meets the needs of both short‑stay visitors and long‑term customers, while ensuring the car park performs strongly as a valuable city centre asset.

James Pollock, Director of Acquisitions & Real Estate, UK & Ireland commented “Strengthening our presence in Sheffield underlines Q‑Park’s ambition to grow decisively across the UK’s leading cities. At a time when asset owners are reassessing their parking operations, we welcome conversations with landlords seeking a long‑term partner that brings financial resilience, operational excellence, and genuine value to their portfolio.”
