Q-Park are delighted to announce that they have been nominated for two British Parking Awards. The winners are due to be announced on the 15th of September in a ceremony hosted by comedian Mark Steel.

The British Parking Awards were launched by Parking Review magazine in 2002 and were immediately recognised as the ultimate recognition of excellence and achievement in parking management, design and innovation. Q-Park have a decorated history at these awards, scooping prizes on multiple occasions as well as many other nominations. The two awards Q-Park have been nominated for are ‘Outstanding Car Park Operator’ and the ‘Parking Technology Award’.

The ‘Outstanding Car Park Operator’ category covers parking providers who are creating a positive experience for motorists. The prize recognises work done to create easy-to-understand, non-confrontational and person-centric services. Q-Park believe that their experience and their continuing commitment to Quality, Innovation and Positive Change makes them a strong contender for this award. A win this year would be the 3rd time that Q-Park have won this now renamed award and further cement their reputation for being the best of the best in the parking industry. A win this year would also mean retaining the title which was won last year.

The innovative new Visitor Parking Portal was nominated for the ‘Parking Technology Award’. This category recognises advances in the systems used to manage parking. The innovation will be a piece of parking hardware, a device or a wider system that makes the management of parking more efficient and/or customer-friendly. This new system that Q-Park has created certainly meets these criteria and is expected to reshape the relationship between Q-Park and its partners including hotels, events venues and offices.

Adam Bidder, Managing Director commented ‘We are delighted to once again be nominated for two British Parking Awards. This demonstrates our commitment to offering a quality service for our customers and other stakeholders. We look forward to the Awards and hopefully collecting some more trophies!’’
