Q-Park The Forum will boast nearly 400 spaces in a new state-of-the-art parking facility located right in the heart of Gloucester City Centre. Q-Park have a well renowned commitment to encouraging customers to make the switch to Electric Vehicles, with this in mind as part of their national infrastructure rollout, the car park will have 44 EV Charging Points available for customers to plug in and top up their battery. The parking facility also features a striking green wall that wraps around the building’s exterior, bringing nature into the heart of the city. This living façade not only enhances the visual appeal but also delivers significant environmental benefits such as improving air quality, reducing urban heat, and supporting biodiversity by providing a habitat for pollinators.
Q-Park will also introduce their award winning operational excellence to Gloucester. Ensuring customers feel confident about the safety of their vehicle is at the heart of Q-Park’s operations. Comprehensive CCTV coverage combined with frequent patrols by on-site parking hosts creates a secure environment that meets the highest standards of protection. There will also be the futuristic PaSS Automatic Number Plate Recognition system installed to provide seamless access for all customers. From the opening day, short-term parkers will benefit from the convenience of the Q-Park app. By registering a number plate and payment card, the need for tickets or pay machines is eliminated, allowing vehicles to enter and exit seamlessly with automatic payment processing. Customers who pre-book parking online enjoy the same effortless access upon arrival and departure. In addition, Season Ticket holders can manage their accounts directly through the Q-Park app, ensuring a streamlined and user-friendly experience across all customer types.
