Q-Park are delighted to announce the successful installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points to the Q-Park Piazza car park in Central Manchester. This installation is part of a nationwide roll-out strategy of Electric Vehicles points across the entire portfolio.
Q-Park Piazza is a secure underground car park located in the Centre of the Manchester Chinatown. The facility is also a short walk away from the Manchester Central Convention Complex, Manchester Town Hall and the Arndale Centre. This excellent location is perfect for motorists who are visiting the city for both business and pleasure.
The Charging Points will be operated by Franklin Energy and complement the existing 18 Charging Points across the Q-Park estate in Manchester. This installation was in response to customer demand for charging infrastructure at this particular parking facility. Due to these works the car park now has four 22kW Electric Vehicle charging points that operate on a pay-as-you-go basis and are located on Level -1 of the car park.
Users wanting to sign up to use the charging point are required to download Franklin Energy’s LiFe EV smart phone app that is available for free download in the Apple and Google Play store.
