Four Q-Park projects shortlisted for EPA Awards

Promoting qualitative improvements in public car parking

Q-Park are delighted to announce that four of its projects have been shortlisted for a European Parking Award. Following visits to all nominees the winner is set to be decided at a ceremony in Brussels in September.

Shortlisted Q-Park projects are:

  • Category 2: Renovated car park
  • Conversion in Chartres, France
  • A city concept in Toulon, France
  • Category 4: Innovative project
  • Partnerships – digital innovative mobility solutions, Belgium
  • Q-Park Park Lane Mobility Hub in London, UK

The EPA Award competition is organised biannually and certifies the most outstanding and excellent car parks (1), services (2), on-street solutions (3), innovations (4) and marketing-communications schemes (5). This "Oscar of the parking industry" demonstrates the highest quality in the aforementioned five categories. The contributions to parking policy, to sustainable urban mobility plans and to urban development are important factors.

Q-Park has a strong history in the awards, dating back to 1999 and winning 15 EPA Awards to date.

The European Parking Association (EPA) is the umbrella organisation for European parking associations. The national member associations represent the parking sector which is consisting of private companies and public bodies that are operating and managing on- and off-street parking structures and services.
