Christmas in Sheffield
From 12 November to 26 December 2026, the Sheffield Christmas Market returns to the city centre with more than 50 traditional log cabins. Stretching through the heart of Sheffield from the Town Hall area towards The Moor, the market brings together local traders, unique gifts, festive food and seasonal drinks.
There's plenty of entertainment for families too. Take in views across Sheffield from the Big Wheel, meet Father Christmas at Santa's Grotto on Barker's Pool, or enjoy traditional attractions including the carousel and illuminated Helter Skelter. Alpine-themed bars and festive food stalls add to the Christmas atmosphere throughout the city centre.
Visitors can also combine the market with Christmas shopping around The Moor, Fargate and Sheffield City Centre, or head to the nearby theatres for a festive show. The Lyceum Theatre hosts Cinderella for its 2026 pantomime season, running from late November into the New Year.
