Christmas in Manchester
From 6 November to 22 December 2026, the Manchester Christmas Markets return across ten city-centre locations, including Albert Square, Lincoln Square, King Street, St Ann's Square, Exchange Square, Market Street and Cathedral Gardens. Visitors can browse more than 200 stalls selling festive food, drinks, handcrafted gifts and seasonal treats.
Albert Square is once again at the heart of the celebrations, with a 50-metre Ferris wheel, traditional helter-skelter, festive food and drink and Christmas attractions continuing until 3 January 2027. Over at Cathedral Gardens, Skate Manchester returns with a huge covered ice rink, family attractions and seasonal food throughout the festive period.
The city will also welcome the Manchester Christmas Parade on Sunday 6 December, adding colourful performances and festive entertainment to the Christmas programme.
