Work underway on Broad Road multi-storey car park

Work is well under way on Q-Park's new £4.9 million 441-space multi-storey car park at Broad Road, Sale, which is on target to open at end of November as planned.

 

The car park will provide some 320 additional parking spaces and is ideally placed to serve Sale town centre and Broad Road Metrolink station with its convenient links to Manchester city centre. It will have an eye-catching façade to complement the new Waterside development, a smart, high quality design inside and out, wide parking bays, convenient facilities and top levels of security — all backed by Q-Park’s special brand of car park hospitality and customer service. The car park will be accessible to customers at all times through it's state-of-the-art ticket and access systems.

 

Q-Park’s new car park is being developed in partnership with Trafford Borough Council and the Manchester Methodist Housing Group, who are building forty-five affordable homes adjacent to the car park, meeting the need for both new housing and new parking facilities in the area.

 

The car park will serve shoppers, leisure users, commuters, office workers and users of Council services during the day and will support the local theatre, bars, restaurants and the redeveloped canal side in the evenings.
