Las Vegas comes to Q-Park
RICS matrics, The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor’s organisation for members under 35, is holding a Viva Las Vegas-themed summer ball at Q-Park’s Criterion Place car park in Leeds.
The event will include a casino, Las Vegas-style cocktails, bar staff wearing themed costumes and a special appearance by Elvis. Canapés and Pimms will be served on arrival, followed by a three-course gala dinner and music from a live band.
The matrics committee is confident that, even if the weather remains damp, the event will raise the temperatures of everyone attending. matrics chairman Adam Varley said: “This is the third time we have held the matrics Ball at Q-Park which is a fantastic, if unusual, venue. Tickets are selling fast and we are expecting a full house of 400 property professionals.”
Q-Park’s Chief Executive Alan Ashbee added: “We are delighted that Q-Park has been chosen once again as the venue for the ball. Our car parks are becoming known as a great venue for all manner of events, particularly for those wanting somewhere a little different and with plenty of creative scope”.
The organisation’s third annual matrics Ball will be held on the top floors of the multi-storey car park on July 7th. Proceeds from the event will go to CRY, the charity that funds research and screening for Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.
The matrics Ball has been sponsored by businesses from across the region, including Q-Park, Judd Farris, Carey Jones Architects, Rhodar, Colliers CRE, Atisreal, King Sturge, Estates Gazette, Walker Morris, Anderson Advertising and Above and Beyond Architects.
