Q-Park flies the Park Mark flag in Liverpool

 

Q-Park’s striking Park Mark-accredited car park in Liver Street is a prime example of the standards the SPS is encouraging car park operators to adopt. The car park forms part of Liverpool One, a £950 million scheme to regenerate 42.5 acres of Liverpool’s city centre. With car parks acting as the front door to the ambitious project, Q-Park was awarded a three car park contract based on its track record of meeting and exceeding exceptionally high standards of operation, safety and customer service.

 

In all, Q-Park will provide a total of 3000 new parking spaces for the development, with its second and third car parks opening at the end of 2007, to coincide with the completion of the main Liverpool One construction scheme and ready for Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture in 2008.

 

Park Mark standards at Liver St

The 581-space, 6-storey car park provides top quality facilities. Alongside a stylish, convenient and comfortable environment, maximum safety and security for customers is ensured through a raft of key measures. In keeping with Park Mark standards, these centre on strong state of the art security, monitoring and CCTV systems; highly visible staff on site 24 hours a day providing outstanding customer service; and use of design features such as excellent lighting and substantial glazing to door, lift and stair areas for best possible day and night visibility.

The car park is so impressive that a recentnationwide survey commissioned by AA Insurance of the best car parks in the UK put it in the top ten. The car park received a glowing report from the assessor: “Adorned with steel Venetian blinds coupled with speedy external ramps, this car park is simply in a class of its own. My white-glove test would undoubtedly have impressed my mother-in-law — you could have eaten your dinner off the floor”.
