First construction industry award for a car park: Silver medal for Q-Park’s Waterloo Street project manager

The prestigious gala awards event celebrates individual management achievement in the construction industry. The silver medal winner was Ross Trivett of Ogilvie Construction, who received the award in the Refurbishment and Fit Out Under £3 million category for his exceptional work on Q-Park’s striking 10-storey, 666-space Waterloo Street car park refurbishment.

 

Ross Trivett’s highly professional project management approach included ensuring that Q-Park’s unique style was fully understood by the building team and the project architect. This included persuading the architect to visit other recent Q-Park renovations with him to gain clear insight into Q-Park’s emphasis on a high quality finish and a distinctive house style.

 

The CIOB’s Construction Manager of the Year awards took place at on 25th October at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

 

Q-Park’s Waterloo Street car park was also presented with the Best Refurbished Car Park Award at the 2005 European Parking Awards in September.
