Q-Park shines at Parkex

The recent Parkex exhibition at the NEC Birmingham amounted to a very productive three days for car park operator Q-Park. The entire exhibition – which was a first at the NEC and a first in combination with Traffix – was upbeat and lively, with Q-Park attracting record numbers of visitors to its bright, vibrant stand.

Q-Park exhibited for the full three days, represented by staff from the Acquisitions and Marketing departments. The event was a great opportunity for fruitful discussions with key industry figures over a superb complimentary Holland-brewed beer, specially brought in for the occasion by Dutch parent company, the Q-Park Group.

Overall, the exhibition enabled Q-Park to showcase its dynamic brand and forward-thinking capabilities - including clean, well-lit, secure parking facilities and exceptionally high levels of customer service - as well as new services such as the Q-Park Key, utilising transponder technology and offering automatic cashless and cardless entrance and exit to the car park.

Corporate brochures detailing the company’s complete range of services were available, including its operations across airports, city centres and hospitals, and its upcoming value-added services such as free newspapers at its Glasgow car parks, and the Q-Park Club offering a wide range of travel-related benefits to airport customers.

Q-Park’s Chief Executive Officer, Alan Ashbee commented: “Parkex was a very successful and productive event for us. It enabled important meetings with key construction suppliers and local authorities, and we are anticipating in-depth discussions with them in the near future with a view to establishing strong working partnerships”.
