Outstanding Contribution award for Q-Park

 

The Princess of Wales Hospital, NHS Trust, Bridgend, Wales, has presented its car park operator, Q-Park, with an Outstanding Contribution award.

 

The award, which was formally presented on 16th November, was for Q-Park’s efforts in helping the police investigate a number of thefts at the hospital. The entire Q-Park team combed through CCTV footage and uncovered evidence of the crime, enabling the local police authority to secure a conviction.

 

The Trust makes an Outstanding Contribution award every six months, either to an individual or a team. The award to Q-Park was based on a letter from the police thanking the hospital for the evidence supplied on CCTV, which led to the conviction. The Q-Park team’s help and co-operation in the matter was deemed far above and beyond the call of duty and were duly awarded for their efforts.
