Ward Vleugels, chairman of the Executive Board of Q-Park NV, obtained a Master of International Management (MIM) at AGSIM in Phoenix, USA. He held several positions in the real estate sector (management and development) and most recently he was the managing director of the Ruijters group. He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate and parking. For six years he was President of the European Parking Association and chairman of the EPA Award. Mr. Vleugels was chairman of Vexpan (the trade representative organisation for the parking sector in the Netherlands) for six years. He founded Q-Park in 1998 as an independent parking company and has led the growth of the company in Europe.

 | W.C.A. van Esveld (1956)
Wim van Esveld, the CFO of Q-Park NV, obtained a degree in Economics at the University of Amsterdam and became a certified public accountant. He started his career with Unilever. In 1986, Mr. Van Esveld moved to Merck Sharp & Dohme, a US Pharmaceutical, where he held various financial positions. In 1993 Mr. Van Esveld joined Vendex International (no. 1 non-food retailer in the Netherlands) as a Corporate Controller and in 1999 he took the position of Finance Director of the Vendex KBB speciality stores. In 2002 he became CFO of Retail Network, a management buy-out of 1000 retail stores, from Vendex KBB to CVC (Venture Capital Company). In September 2004 Mr. Van Esveld joined the Executive Board as CFO of Q-Park NV. He is responsible for finance, IT, tax, funding and legal affairs.

 | T.J.F. Thuis (1961)
Theo Thuis, the COO of Q-Park NV, obtained a degree in Human Geography at the University of Utrecht. His career began at the Regional Council of ‘s-Hertogenbosch followed by the position of Deputy Managing Director of the Business Development Company ‘s-Hertogenbosch. In 1992 he joined the municipal council of Maastricht, where he acted as director of economic affairs and business development of the region. Mr. Thuis became Managing Director of Social and Economic Affairs of the City of Maastricht. Mr. Thuis joined the Executive Board of Q-Park NV on January 1, 2001.
