Q-Park has its own R&D group. Our project teams, made up of traffic, business and building specialists, work together at our expertise centre to develop tailor-made solutions to parking issues.
Their work focuses on four specific fields:
Traffic and parking research
Q-Park investigates how the purpose of a customer's visit influences his or her parking behaviour. For example, our researchers have developed a parking forecast model which predicts how many parking spaces a particular city will need and the best locations for these spaces, based on geographical information. In addition, research results are used to develop new customer products and services.
Feasibility studies
Q-Park performs preliminary studies for future investors to determine whether a parking facility can be run at a sufficiently large profit.
New products and services
Whether technical in nature or based on innovative service concepts, all of Q-Park’s new products are customer-oriented and designed to meet market demands.
Customer satisfaction
In order to optimise the quality of its service, Q-Park conducts regular customer satisfaction surveys. That way, Q-Park knows whether customers are happy with the level of convenience, the parking hosts, and Q-Park’s products and services.
