Award winning European company Q-Park has been awarded a 10-year lease of the 284 space car park at St John’s Shopping Centre in Leeds which is owned by Hermes Real Estate Investment Management Ltd. After completing a thorough tender process, Q-Park was chosen for its excellent levels of quality and customer service.
Q-Park will be delivering a programme of improvements which will include a new CCTV system, improved lighting, new signage, replacement barriers and pay machines, along with a wealth of other convenient services including free umbrella and baby buggy loan, and a range of emergency equipment including a jump starter and heart defibrillator.
Since the takeover on 1st January 2012, Q-Park has introduced a new £2 hourly rate for the first four hours. This change in tariff has been welcomed by the retailers in the centre who will benefit from increased visitor numbers.
