E.J.M. Vleugels (1958)

Ward Vleugels, Q-Park NV CEO and chairman of the board, obtained a Master of International Management (MIM) at AGSIM in Phoenix, USA. He held several positions in the real estate sector (management and development) and has over 25 years of experience in real estate and parking.

He was President of the European Parking Association and of Vexpan (the trade representative organisation for the parking sector in the Netherlands). He founded Q-Park in 1998 as an independent parking company and has led the growth of the company in Europe.

René van de Kieft, Q-Park NV CFO, obtained a degree in Business Economics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and a degree in Management Accounting and Control at the Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School. He started his career with SFB (Cordares) as a Concern Controller and in 1999 he joined PGGM, a pension fund, as Director Finance & Control.

In 2006 he became CFO COO and member of the Executive Board of PGGM. He was also Chairman of the board of PGGM Life Insurance and PGGM Indemnity Insurance. In September 2009, René became the CFO of Q-Park NV. He is responsible for finance, IT, tax, funding and legal affairs.

T.J.F. Thuis (1961)

Theo Thuis, Q-Park NV COO, obtained a degree in Human Geography at the University of Utrecht. His career began at the Regional Council of ‘s-Hertogenbosch after which he became the Deputy Managing Director of the Business Development Company in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

In 1992 he joined the municipal council of Maastricht and became their director of economic affairs and regional business development and progressed to the function of Managing Director of Social and Economic Affairs of the City of Maastricht. Theo became Q-Park NV’s COO on January 1, 2001.
